Ways You Can Help!
Montana Companion Animal Network is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit corporation able to accept charitable donations and contributions under the Internal Revenue Code. All monies we receive will be used to assist us in helping needy animals.
Whether you’re able to send a little or a lot, every penny counts towards making an animal’s life better…..check out all the ways you can give!
Make a General Contribution – all funds under this category will be used where needed to provide MTCAN services, such as our web site, printing materials, assistance to shelters & rescues, paid advertisements for specific animals & events, etc.
Specific Program Contribution – MTCAN has direct programs that will always need funding. You can designate your money to our: Community Educational Outreach Program, Pet Retention Services (medical needs, home services, animal transports, etc.); Supportive Services to other groups in need of financial support such as Feral Cat Rescue, the Mobile Adoption Center and many private rescues. To designate your contribution to a specific program simply include a note on the memo section of your check or email us at info@mtcan.org
MTCAN Capital Mobile Adoption Vehicle Campaign – we have a “vision” and a mission to assist all the shelters and rescue groups in Montana to find loving homes for their animals. To accomplish this major endeavor, MTCAN is raising funds to purchase a new, specifically built, mobile adoption vehicle that will be available to the various groups throughout Montana to promote their adoptable animals. Event Sponsorships or Fundraisers – You or your business CAN help MTCAN by sponsoring one of our special events or by coming up with your own fundraising event! To sponsor one of our events check out our Events page and email us at info@mtcan.org. To hold your own fundraiser contact Mary@mtcan.org or call at (406) 642-3785 and we’ll be there!
Wish List – every organization has a list of items needed just to operate. If you are looking to get rid of some unwanted items or you'd like to help out by purchasing a special item needed for the MTCAN mission, check out our Wish List for our ever-changing needs.
Tribute Gifts – Make a contribution in honor or memory of a beloved pet or person and we’ll send a card to whomever you wish, telling them about your tribute. We’ll also put your dedication on our web page and you can include a picture if you like.
Advertise on our website – We have space available on our website for advertising and we’d love to promote your business. Contact info@mtcan.org for advertising rates and spaces available.
Join the MTCAN Team – Our organization is run strictly by unpaid, committed volunteers. Whether you have an hour, a day, or time on your hands, we’re sure we have a spot that would interest you. Adopt-A-Classroom Project - Help MTCAN make our community more humane by spreading the "be kind to animals" message to all 150 elementary classrooms in Ravalli County. If you'd like help teach kids to Adopt-A-Classroom
